Transaction Status Section in the Student's Account
Enrollment week is a very stressful week for some AGSB students. Students experience situations such as not getting the schedule that they want because all the slots have already been taken, they can't log in or access the website, subjects enrolled were not saved, there are subjects that they have to enroll manually, and the subjects that they enrolled were all gone after they paid online. As a result, a lot of people going to the registrar to fix their problems.
It would really help if every transaction of students would appear in their account as well as the status.
For example:
A student enrolled online and paid for his/her tuition online as well. There should be a section in the student's account to check his/her status. Since it will take three days to verify the payment it would be better if there will be a "Pending" indicated in the status of enrollment. Once it has been cleared a "Paid" status will appear and if not there should be a "payment unsuccessful" status. If ever the payment is unsuccessful the student should be given within the day to settle their payment in the school cashier instead of automatically removing all the subjects enrolled once online payment is unsuccessful. If the student failed to settle it within the day, then that's the time the subjects enrolled will be removed. This is better than wondering and waiting if the payment was successful or not and it will lessen the number of students going to the registrar to raise their concerns. 4

NU12 by MS - Tracking Device for Kids
Melanie Silverio
NU12
My sister already has two kids and whenever they go to the mall, the kids would be all over the place so it is really hard for her to do her shopping and watch her kids at the same time. I'm sure that most moms can relate to this. So what they would normally do is hire a "yaya" or babysitter to watch over their kids when they go shopping or busy with something. From this, I thought of a product (tracking device) that would be useful to this situation. Adults would have this cellphone-like tracking device with them while their kids would wear a watch or bracelet that is connected to the tracking device.
Here are the features of the proposed tracking device:
1. When the child goes beyond 6 or 7 feet away from you the device would alarm to call your attention just in case you are so busy with something and did not notice that your child has already tried to go somewhere.
2. It is also like a GPS wherein you will also be able to monitor the location of your child.
3.On the child's watch or bracelet, there is an information that has the name of the child and his/her parents and contact no. as well.
4. This device is also rechargeable.
I think that this device would also help lessen the incidents of missing children in our country. 4

NU12 by Melanie Silverio - Reserved Parking at Malls

NU12
Whenever I go to a mall, it's so hard to look for a vacant parking space most especially during weekends and holidays. Sometimes I wait for 20 minutes or so just to park my car. For sure a lot of people can relate to this. The first thought in my mind was, if people can reserve their tickets online to avoid waiting, why not do the same for parking? This is where E-Commerce would come in the picture. Malls can include online parking reservation to their website or create an online parking reservation website. It is basically similar to reserving a movie ticket online. The website must contain a list of shopping malls, no. of vacant parking and time indicator.
1.
1. Shoppers will have to sign up first before they could make a reservation.
2. 2. After they sign up, they will have to choose from the list of shopping malls and check for available parking space.
3. 3. They will also have to indicate what time they will most likely be arriving at the mall. If they have not arrived after 20 minutes of the time that they have indicated, their reservation will be forfeited.
4. 4. After making the reservation, they will receive a confirmation code that they will show upon entering the parking lot and from there they will receive the number of their parking space.
5. 5. Confirmation no. may be printed or sent to their mobile phone.
There will also be a parking area for those who did not make any reservation. 4
