Redesigning Braces
Braces are the things a dentist put in your mouth to correct
many deformities and misalignments in your teeth. They are painful at times and can become a
hassle because food usually gets stuck between them.
I myself wear braces and I can tell you that my gums have
bleed a lot since then because of the loos wirings and the shape of the brace
itself which had some hooks..
My proposal is to redesign these accursed things and make it
more round. Kind of like in the 80’s box type cars were the “in thing” and then
in the 90s the more aerodynamic cars
came and the box-types were suddenly old.
In my proposed braces, they should be curved so that when it hits the skin the skin would
be safe.
A more ergonomic braces would be enclosed and food stuck
between teeth would be minimized because there shouldn’t be hooks protruding or
any loose wires that sink into the gums.
This is safer because a common thing that happens in people
with braces is they have infection in wounds in the gums. This is dangerous to
our health because we ingest the secretions of the infected wound and this
circulates inside our body.
This would entail costs to cure like oral antiseptics and
antibiotics.
