NU12 by Campus Queen - Vital Pen

Vital Pen
Campus Queen
MBAH 10B

A pen is a necessity for a medical staff like me (aside from a stethoscope and a mini iPad).

When you do your daily hospital rounds and outpatient clinics aside from the dialysis units, you would want to double check the vital signs done by your staff and explain some data to your patients and relatives with the least amount of effort.

Why not develop a pen that can get your heart rate by just holding it for a few seconds? On the opposite side of the pen's tip, you will find three buttons and a small LCD display. The first button is the thermal scan. By just pointing the pen few inches away from the patient's midforehead, you will get the temperature in seconds! One button is flashlight that can be used for examination of the oropharynx. Another button is a portable LCD projector where you can project your short lay lectures on the wall while you try to explain a particular disease entity.  4

Isn't that cool?

NU12 Luggage with built in digital weighing scale by campus queen

Shop-o-meter travel bag
(Campus Queen)

Whenever I go out of the country, my perennial problem is worrying about excess baggage--I am sure this has also been a problem of other women! Most of the time, we forget to bring our portable weighing scales. Or we lose it every time we travel.

Why not create a luggage with a built- in digital weighing scale? With the digital monitor located near the handle of the luggage bag, every time you put your clothes and other recently shopped items inside, you can always check by just turning on the built- in monitor and the weight of the bag will be displayed. In that way, you will not run the risk of over baggage. 3,5

NU 12 by Campus queen - Satellite Umbrella

Satellite Umbrella
(Campus Queen)

Ever since I was diagnosed to have cutaneous lupus, hiding from the sun and bright lighting become a normal activity. I wear SPF 80-110 every day of my life. And I always wear my hooded jacket. But I don't bring umbrellas with me--thanks to my drivers, haha!!

But what if my drivers are not around? What if none of my friends bring their umbrellas?

This is why I thought of the Satellite Umbrella. It is an application in your own cellphone. Using the GPS, you can activate the Satellite umbrella anytime providing you a" normal shield" from the sun, just like using an umbrella. It can protect you while waiting for your car outside the house, watching a football game in the field, while doing brisk walking or jogging as long as the phone has Satellite Umbrella application.  3 (realistic ba ito Dra?

Cool!

NU 12 by Campus Queen - Nutrition QR codes

qr Nutrition code
(campus queen)

I am a sucker for diet, calorie counting and nutrition. I recently lost 35 pounds and I don't     intend to gain them back in the next few months. Good thing many food in the market have front of pack labels, although these still need to be improved. But in the restaurants, including the fine-dining ones, we have no idea how much actually we are taking in.

So, I thought of qr nutrition labels. The qr code or the quick response code is the trademark for a type of matrix barcode which was first designed for the automotive industry in Japan. This is faster, has greater storage capacity as compared to the standard barcode. The information that can be coded include numerical, alpha numerical, byte/binary.

What if each menu in the restaurant has a corresponding qr nutrition code, containing the number of calories per serving, and the nutrition facts? And since, it has greater capacity for storage, you can also get data on health benefits or bad effects of overconsumption of that particular dish!

All you have to do is install an application with a qr-code scanner on your cellphone that can read the displayed code. The code will then be converted to URL, directing the phone to the site associated with nutrition data thus providing specific information!! 4

NU 12 - Reserved Parking in a Mall? by Campus Queen

Parking Perfect
(Campus queen)

Good parking is always a challenge in malls, especially during Holidays and 3-day sales. It's those times that I wouldn't wanna go there. It's a nightmare.
What if the person in the pay parking area provides a definite parking slot for you, just like a reserved seat in the movie house? She will show you the diagram in the monitor and you'll get to choose where you want your car situated before getting inside the parking area. In this way, moving around looking for a vacant space is avoided and more time is spent for shopping :) <why not for valued clients> 3

NU 12 # 2 by Campus Queen - Condo Concierge

Condo Concierge
(Campus Queen)

I have talked to some single friends who live in condo units. They practically work 24/7 and they don't have much time doing household stuff. A yaya is out of the question since they opted to stay alone in their studio-type rooms.

What if the condominium offers a concierge that takes care of laundry, bills payment, minor plumbing and electrical services and even probably doing some grocery items and or cleaning of units once a week? That would be a great relief for my overworked friends. 3
