New Products/Product Improvements (Part VII)
As a tech lover with too many electronic gadgets to keep fully charge like smart phones, PSP, and camera; I am always unease whenever I left my charger at home or sometimes my backpack gets bulky just for the different charger that I bring for my different gadgets.
So instead of bringing these different chargers in my bag and often misplace them, I am thinking of developing a new charger that is lightweight and compact and can cater to all the electronic gadgets with batteries.
A unique feature of this charger is that it is environment friendly wherein its source of power is the sun and it can store energy of up to 500 volts.
To be clearer on the product that I want to develop, the following are the specifications:
Overall, the solar powered electronic charger that I want to develop will not only gives convenience to the consumers but it will also provide savings on time, money, space. 4

New Products/Product Improvements (Part IV)
As I sit on the bench in one of the malls in Quezon City , I just realized why do people only develop a gadget for those people that are not blind? Are there gadgets that is readily available in the market that could somehow help them in there everyday life?
This thought in my mind makes me realize to develop a lightweight smart phone device that will speak what it sees.
This smart phone device will let the users to take pictures of and read just about anything.
The smart phone can store thousands of pictures and printed pages with the built-in memory and you can even transfer these to PC, laptops or even a Braille note taker.
Another important feature of the device it can read printed documents like letter, bills, restaurant menu, an airline ticket, business card or an office memo using the built in camera, which I called 'Iscan', that the user can hear the contents of the printed document in seconds.
It also has a GPS device that will help not only to guide the user on the street but could give warning if there will an upcoming hazard in front or on his sides.
To be clearer on the product that I want to develop, the following are the specifications of the smart phone device:
- It has a Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi and GPS device and it support a 2G and 3G Network.
- It is waterproof up to 12 meter (39.4 feet) of salt water.
- It used Android 32.3.7 Gingerbread operating software.
- It has an internal memory of 1 GB and an expandable external memory (Micro SD Card up to 32 GB).
- It has a 5 megapixel camera with Autofocus and it can record videos.
- It has also a scanner device which I called 'Iscan' that can read documents
- Its size is approximately 117 x 63 x 10 MM and weighs 120 grams
Overall, the smart phone device that I want to develop will not only give convenience to the blind but it will also be there eyes and ears in their everyday life. 4

New Products/Product Improvements (Part III)
What is the future of time-keeping?
My idea is to develop a Bluetooth Touchscreen Digital Watch with attachable Projector that is perfect for customers who keep their smart phones and Ipad in their pockets, bags or briefcase.
This watch will allow the customer to accept calls using its Blue tooth features and they can even present their report that is saved in their Ipad using the projector.
The specifications of the watch will be as follows:
- It has a retractable USB port for Ipad that is located on the left hand side of the watch.
- It is waterproof up to 12 meter (39.4 feet) of salt water.
- It has removable projector that has a resolution of 640x360 and the projected screen size can go up to 65 inches and with a range of nearly 3 meters
- It has a Bluetooth feature and you can also re-dial numbers by touching the button on the screen.
- It has a frequency of 2.4 Ghz and it range is up to 10 meters
- It will not use a Lithium battery rather its power will rely more on USB charging and it has a back up solar power.
- Its size is approximately 2.5" wide and fits 16-22 cm wrist and weighs about 69 grams (without the projector)
Overall, the watch that I want to develop will not only give convenience to the yuppies and adults but it will have added features that will be beneficial to entrepreneurs who is always on the run. 4
