Messengerial Service on Call

Sometimes we have personal transactions which are immediate and could not be delay, often times for working people the tendency is to be on leave on that day just to bring these documents to other person immediately.  Yes, we do have the To Go, LBC, JRS Express, etc. which service turn- around time would be to send the documents the following day but that is if after office hours you were able to send those documents to them. But what if due to workload we were not able to send the documents to a courier because they are already close at 6pm, it will delay the sending of documents and if it is immediate you will take off from work the following day.  That means you'll take a leave from work though you have lots of workload in the office.

To minimize these scenarios, I thought of a messengerial on call, where in a client would just call if he needs a messenger to send the documents from Makati where he works to Ortigas where he needs to send the documents and can't just leave its work or can't go out from home.  In just minutes or so, you'll have a personal messenger who would transmit the documents to other party on the same day.  It gives more convenience to the client and no time was waste because you were able to do your work and won't be stress of the traffic that you will encounter in going there. 3.5

I love bags and bracelets especially those with beads so I thought of making a bag that the handle can be interchange with different handles and at the same time these handles can also be used as bracelets and necklace. Different designs of these handles can describe your mood for the day or the mood that you want to have.  It can be design as to what feng shui suggests or just simply describe the character of the user. 4

Malunggay Fries

Malunggay is full of nutrients, children, even teens to young professionals love French fries or Potato Fries.  Since from all ages, potato fries is saleable, why not create another fad for these by making malunggay like a fries but instead of slender cut, it will be of its leaf shape making it crispy. Many people are more health conscious, it can be a way to help them out also in finding another sumptuous but healthy food. 4

Trash Bin with Deodorizer and insect/ Ants repellent

We all know trash cans smells depending on what type of garbage is dispose in it and oftentimes the surrounding near it will have a foul smell too. Also if it is biodegradable, when ants smell the food, they will haunt for it and they will join forces to get their food from the trash.  So to avoid this, a trash bin with deodorizer and insect and ants repellent should be used.  This trash is ozone and environment friendly. 4

Umbrella with MP3

Sometimes I find umbrella to be boring to use but I need to use it because it's raining or the heat of the sun is just so hot.  To be more hip and fun to use the umbrella maybe we could attach an MP3 player with it so that whenever the umbrella is on, the mp3 will also turn on.  And on the umbrella's handle are the selection keys, volume, and the on and off button.  It will be more fun to bring your umbrella now.  The earphone can be hidden in the handle or just use the loudspeaker instead. 3

Belt with a Secret Pocket

Nobody of course wanted to loose or lost its wallet but for extra precaution, in going to crowded area or riding a bus or a jeep or just for an emergency use, instead of putting all your money in the wallet or bag you could leave some to the secret pocket in your belt, to use in case unwanted things happen, just like holdup in a bus, or simply what if your wallet is missing nowhere to be found. When these happens, at least you know you still have something to spend to and you can still go home and there's no need to be fetch by a family member or a friend to a certain place. 3

Portable Utensil Sterilizer

Nowadays even fast food chain uses silverware for utensils instead of disposable spoon and fork.  But sometimes we doubt if it is really sterilized, so we still use tissue to wipe it thinking we would somehow lessen the dirt in those utensils.  Even the glass or mug sometimes we do the same thing wiping it before using.  So to solve this problem, a portable utensil sterilizer is needed.  It's a tissue sort of a wet wipes but just made for the utensils which can be used for glasses and mugs also. 3

EATING in a BUFFET Restaurant

I love eating in a buffet resto.  Whenever we go to a buffet dining, to get the food we still need to go to the place where the foods are.  A lot of foods are on that area and some you don't even eat.  If there's an unlimited drink such as iced tea or soft drinks and unlimited rice, maybe we could also come up with an unlimited viand or "ulam" in ''Tagalog".  An example, for a group of 5 to 7 for example, you only want 3 viands from the buffet table, you could order the 3 viands and just have it on your table and waiter would just fill it up again when you still want food.    

There will be no buffet table, and customer would just have to select from the menu the viands they want.  They can order unlimited rice, unlimited drinks as well.  But here, the cook should be able to ready the food even before the food should be served again. To be able to do that, the resto will only have 3 – 4 menus that can be ordered in unlimited servings every day.  But still offer other foods serve by order.3

BAG with AUTOMATIC LOCK

It was a not so good weekend last Saturday but still thankful we got home safe. My bag fell off the passenger's side of the car when my husband suddenly opens the door.  Unfortunately my bag was open and of all the things inside my bag, his wallet was the one which fell into the hole of the flood channel.  So, I thought of a bag with an automatic lock.

It's a bag that will automatically close, it can be a zipper type or it can have like a magnet on both side of the bag, that when you do not do anything with the bag, it will just close automatically.  It can keep your things safe always.  4

I always bring with me water by using my tumbler instead of buying bottled water especially in school.  I always bring it to work and to school. Usually a tumbler has no handle and we just bring it as it is.  So I thought of a hippie tumbler bag where I could put my tumbler in wherever I go.  Its handle can be short or long depending on the person if he wanted it to use like a hand carry only or like a sash bag.

When a tumbler contains cold water, it perspires and your hands get wet also while holding it, with this I thought of a tumbler bag that can absorb or prevent the perspiration of the tumbler and still maintain its coldness or hotness.
These tumbler bags will come in different sizes and shapes and these can be customized and you could put your name on it and maybe your picture can be put on it.

This can motivate people to just bring their own tumbler to minimize also their expenses and at the same time they are "in", meaning they're still stylish in a way.  This can minimize also the use of plastic bottles and the reusing of plastic bottles which is bad for the environment and the latter is bad for our health because of the toxins plastic has.

Attached are pictures of my tumblers and I want to create bags for them.  If there are laptop bags, there should be tumbler bags also. 3,5

A Book with a bookstand – NU 12 – WEEK 1

For students, especially law students they have those thick books that
they bring anywhere so that they could read it anytime. When reading
of course you would want to be in a comfortable position. So, instead
of laying the book in the table for long readings and your head
stooping down, you want to use a book stand that could not strain your
neck and you could last for long readings. What I thought is a book
with a bookstand in it. The purpose of this is to bring the bookstand
always and to protect your neck from strain whenever you feel like
reading for long hours.3

What pisses me off in AGSB – NU 12 – WEEK 1

I'm not fond of credits (utang), but now when I started to study and
chose Ateneo as my Graduate school I always have balances on my credit
card. My schooling now is not supported by my company and it all
comes from my salary and sometimes my parents help me with some of my
finances in school. But I think my credit card had helped me a lot in
pursuing my post graduate studies.

AGSB only accepts the Burgundy Credit Card of BPI and AMEX for foreign
students. AGSB's tuition fee is so high that sometimes young
professional students use their credit to finance their studies. In
my own experience, when I was in my 2nd term, I ran out of credit in
my BPI Card so, I ask the cashier if I could just use another card
unfortunately they don't accept other credit cards aside from the two
that I've mentioned. So I end up enrolling the following day.
Another thing is that the books inside AGSB can't be bought on credit,
they just accept cash. Sometimes, instead of buying in school, I look
for books outside wherein I could use my credit card and sometimes it
is much cheaper. There are times that you badly need the book but the
allowance or the pay day will be in 8 days from now. At least with
credit card you could buy outright when you needed it badly.

A Coffee / Tea House NU12 – WEEK 2

While doing this, I'm here at Starbucks and what I thought of now is
having a Coffee/Tea House wherein the customers aside from reading
magazines and newspaper, they can play board games such as chess,
monopoly, scrabble etc. The store has those board games that its
customers could use. The Coffee house can be near schools. They have
a choice of unlimited coffee or tea which is self-service if they want
to get a refill. Mostly high school or college students would go to
this place to relax after school or in their break time. Flavored
coffee and tea ice cream is also available here. Even yuppies would
enjoy this place because of the hip ambiance and they can relax their
mind after long hours of work. Instead of playing with the computers,
with these you could interact lively to your colleagues or schoolmates
and become play pals and meeting new friends would be fun. These new
generation would be able to experience the old school games which is
for me would be a fun learning experience also. 4
