VARIABLE INSURANCE PREMIUM Insurance premiums in the Philippines are calculated by certain percentages and are common/fixed regardless of the profile of the entity being insured. In other countries like the U.S., individuals are assessed based on their risk levels ( first time availer pays higher premium than that of a person with previous availments and without accidents/claims). It will be valuable if same principle can be applied here in the Philippines because you will be rewarding those people who operates safely (i.e. vehicle owners, factories, etc.) and at the same time penalizing those who are not. This can be economically viable and at the same time promotes safety, health and environmental awareness to the society. 3

In this case, a lens can be manufactured which can be adjusted on a certain range for example from -1.0 to -2.0 with increments of -0.25. MANDATORY WEEKEND & HOLIDAY DUTIES FOR MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS It has been a common practice here in the Philippines that most doctors, dentists, optometrists..etc are only available during weekdays. Their clinics are usually closed during weekends and holidays. That is why, for most of us who are tied-up with our work and businesses, have to sacrifice a day or two just to be able to consult a medical practitioner. Employees are most affected because they have to file a leave just to have a check-up. For me, health should be the number one priority of every individual, the society and the government in order to have a strong and healthy workforce that can deliver a progressive economy. It is just frustating that most people have the time during weekends and holidays but majority of the medical clinics are closed. We understand that these medical professionals have to spend time with their families also but since their job is more of a vocation and obligation to the people, they should adjust their schedule in order to maximize their service to the community. This type of extended operations have already been initiated by the banks and some medical clinics inside the malls but I think it will be more benefecial if it will be mandatorily required by the government. Gone also are the days, where you can also request a physician to conduct home visits to sick people. 3 sorry for the mix up

ROSA   NU 6   1.      ELECTRONIC DRY SEAL FOR PROFESSIONALS   Being in the Engineering and Construction field, I find it very cumbersome for Licensed Engineers to attached and mark their manual dry seal on every piece of building plan or drawing. This is usually done when somebody applies for building permits and other public documentations. The authorized Designer or usually the Licensed Professional stamps and signs each sheet which are at an average more than 100 pages for a Building Project. A typical dry seal as shown below has been in existence since time immemorial: It costs around Php 1,500 to Php 2,000.0. It is also troublesome to bring it anywhere. My new idea is to be able to design and market an Electronic Dry Seal for all Professionals to address the wasted time and effort in stamping the related public documents. In order to address the risk of tampering or hacking as in any computer based technology, a random number shall be re-produced every time or it can also be protected by passwords. 4 NU 6- II          COMMON POST & CABLES FOR ELECTRICITY AND DATA   As an Engineer, I have always wondered on how to cut costs on construction projects and even on our existing utilities. One of the things that irritate me is the need to have separate cables, conduits and even posts for electricity and data (voice, data, etc.). I have searched in the internet and nothing has been written yet about this idea. Imagine if we can now access electric power, internet and telephone all in one cable and outlet, that will be a huge savings for all future projects. The picture above shows how we use so many cables for electricity and communications. There will definitely be a huge market for a co-transmission cable because of the enormous cost savings.   The challenge however is to how to prevent the turbulence created by power cables that affects the data cables. The distortion that it creates on the data transfer shall be addressed first. (MVP and his engineers at Meralco are working on it) 4 NU 6- III         TOTALLY WIRELESS CHARGER FOR ELECTRONIC GADGETS There are already existing wireless cellphone chargers as this one on the picture but my idea is to innovate this into a totally wireless gadget. The existing ones still have to be re-charged or provided with dry-type batteries but they are still pluged-in to an electric socket in order to recharge. My idea is to re-charge it by just putting it beside an electric socket but not actually plugging it in thereby eliminating the messy wires. Since there are already existing wireless technology, this system can easily be designed and tested in the market.  (4) sana feasible
