New spending habits -  WISE WALLET
Concept/ Implementation :

Most of the time, it is hard to control our daily spending. We just keep on getting cash from our wallets and refilling it without really having a practical, wise daily budget. To monitor my daily spending and save much for the rainy days, I thought of making a wallet that digitally computes for the money withdrawn from the wallet every time you get an amount for consumption. It will have various compartments for the different bills and for the coins.
At the end of the day, it will sum up your total expenses which was unloaded from it.

Benefits:

In this way, I will be reminded and be aware of how much I have spent for the day. If  I will be starting to put a daily budget me, the left money inside the wallet can be put aside daily for savings. Then I will just put enough money allotted as my daily budget the following day. A saving of 200 pesos daily would mean 1,400.00 weekly and 5,600.00 pesos monthly. x 12 = 67, 200 3

NU12# 7 Orientation seminar for govt hospital service providers

NU12# 7
PROFESSIONALISM, New methods...practices

ENTREP 2- 19- 13

Concept:
Most of government agencies/ institutions are not given the opportunity to have regular seminars or forum regarding the right attitude and conduct in dealing with its clients.
This sort of symposium which aims to orient and reorient government employees on how they will go about their daily routines with the proper attitude and with profesionalism, in a busy and congested office environment is very rarely offered. At least in the institution where I am connected, that happens to be a tertiary government hospital under the DOH ( Department of Health ); I would say...it is not .
Maybe because of the budget it would entail and the time it would consume, which may disrupt the daily services of the departments. But on the other hand, almost all private firms offer such seminars especially to new employees. And they are very particular with attitude.
Mostly people would comment that employees in government agencies are unfriendly and "mataray"?....

Implementation:
I thought of offering a bi-annual seminar / orientation / symposium on best attitudes and strategy in dealing with charity patients in a tertiary government hospital. This will be made a requirement prior to employment to all staffs from the medical, nursing, paramedical and administrative divisions. Theme could be Patience for Many Patients.
The other seminar for the year would be for those old employees and will serve as a reorientation seminar to remind them and as part of their re evaluation for promotion and for performance ratings.

Benefits:
The employees will be more knowledgeable and aware of the proper approach and attitude in times of work pressures and when patients are many and persistent.
In this way also, the employees from the different departments would be closer and familiar to each other, through this seminars. They will be able to exchange ideas and opinions regarding experiences in the workplace and the different effective strategies they do for these.
The budget from the National government will have an effective use for such seminars instead of putting it to waste or back to the treasury or even to corrupt practices?
There will be a practical, effective, and useful program being implemented in this government agency which could serve as a model or pattern for other government institutions particularly hospitals.3

What pisses you off in the mall? What do you suggest?
COMFORT LEVEL/ ZONE

Concept:
The crowd and long lines in the women's restrooms in the malls has always been a perinneal problem in almost all the shopping malls. When you try to observe, that of the men's, actually are not jam packed, on the other end....So additional number of space/ cubicles for women is always wished for....

Implementation:
In every mall, I would suggest that a bigger floor area in a particular level be assigned, like for example in the first floor ( I would suggest half of the floor/ level ) be assigned for a women's restroom area only, aside from the existing restrooms in the other levels... The long lines maybe due to the the long grooming activities of women and their ways and method of disposing their wastes.
Thus I would suggest that the structure of the toilet bowls, mirrors , sinks be remodeled. The bowls and cubicles should be constructed in the middle of every space back to back instead of the circular or perimeter type surrounding the space,as existing in the common restrooms of the malls. In this way, the space is being utilized fully without crowding and much congestion.

Benefits:
There will be less long lines, less piling up of clients waiting for their turn to use the restrooms, especially the females. Happy, satisfied, comfortable mall customers will be served by this innovation. Thus, more patrons for the mall and stores around will be produced. It will be a "come on" factor for mall goers...3 <baka magastos for the mall lang? but great observation

NU 12 by Small Runner Alien - Dog Poop Catcher

Topic: What pisses you off at the neighborhood? What do you suggest?
CONCEPT:
In our neighborhood, I would sometimes see a couple of homeowners and maids walking their nice dogs around our beautiful community. However, few minutes after staying at the beautiful and greeny park of the village, the poop of the dog will be left scattered anywhere and unattended. This scenario pisses me off. I feel they are irresponsible owners and homeowners. They don't have a means to clean up their mess!
I thought of making a reusable, washable, user friendly dog poop catcher. It will be like a diaper in appearance, made of durable plastic ( no BPA ), that can be attached to the butt of dogs.
HOW TO IMPLEMENT:
It will be part of the Board of Directors meeting agenda. The rules regarding the stray dogs will be modified, adding the rules on properly managing house dogs. Since not all are responsible enough to clean the dirt of their pets, the village commissary will be selling this   DOG POOP CATCHER with the said features at a discounted cost for homeowners of good standing. This will be a requirement for each pet. Registration of pets will also be implemented.
BENEFITS OF THE INNOVATION:
With this idea, I think we can teach and discipline the dogs, homeowners and maids in      our community and maintain the cleanliness and harmony. With this innovation, dog owners will find it more convenient and more hygienic in managing  the problems of dogs'  poops . Owners will be able to bring their pets everywhere worry free. The bonding between them will be greater because dogs will feel the value of  being taken cared of. This innovation may follow its usage in other pets like cats.  The community will  have an effective way of waste disposal. And there will also be additional income for the commissary, thus win=win solution. 4
