Carbon Fiber Wings 2l, auto car racing

The Ateneo Graduate School of Business Advantage

This morning at Simples Lugawan, while resting, I overheard a high tech talk regarding carbon fiber. And the guy who is from Cainta, is an expert in car racing technology:   turbo charging, intercooler, intercooler plumbing.  He left his business in Kasibulan, near the Auto Aircon Clinic of Jun Guiala (rip) before Shell station in Imelda Highway.

He said that there are many auto car parts, made of carbon fiber, actually manufactured in the Philippines in Montalban Rizal (now Rodriguez) by a guy named Mr. Flores.  He has place near the hospital, after Petron (near the de la Paz st pedestrian walkway).   The carbon fiber car parts are exported to Japan and re exported to PHL at 3x the price.   (Well the parts got crazy going back and forth and got more expensive because of the shipping handling and taxes)

The technology of Mr Flores, which he studied in Japan, involved vacuum slip forming in molds where clearances are so tiny because the clearances between molds and the carbon fiber is minimized because of the vacuum.

Who says that we are behind technology?  That Pinoys are low tech....?

Remember about my post on Ado Gonzaga's cousin who makes carbon fiber motorcycle exhaust and exports this to Malaysia.

It is time for technology transfer, creative imitation, or whatever you call it.
'
Tell that to the old Pinoys.
