NU #4: AFFORDABLE WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK EARLY FLOOD DETECTION SYSTEM -Jane Labarrete

What pisses you off at the neighborhood? What do you suggest?

AFFORDABLE WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK EARLY FLOOD DETECTION SYSTEM
It's frustrating every time it rains people are in the rush of relocating their cars, putting their things upstairs but the sad part is, usually they get stuck inside our village because of high flood waters and end up with all their possessions such as cars and other stuff drowning in water. Most residents are not aware which route to take or what best route to get out of the village that's why a WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK EARLY FLOOD DETECTION SYSTEM would be very helpful this system an affordable automated flood warning system that takes into account an array of challenges a good substitute for expensive flood systems but to further improve this it will be linked to an application in our smart phones reflecting passable routes to get outside the village. Also if incase there's a power failure that can disrupt operations, it is solar powered backup systems are in place at these sites in case the power grid fails. The system would also suggest alternative route to our homes and will notify us time to time to avoid cars floating in streets every time it rains. The MIT system consists of an automated sensor network running prediction software that measures and computes in real time in order to address changing conditions during a flood. This system is very helpful especially for evacuations definitely worth investing specially for in preparation for future calamities.
