Serendipity walk

The Street and area:

The street is named Kamagong and the area has lots of residential, there is a big condominium (Kingswood) and lots of small villages. The street of Kamagong is a one-way street with lots of traffic. In the area you can find:

-       Shopwise

-       Fast-food such as McDonalds, KFC, Chowking

-       Small and cheap restaurants

-       A couple of BBQ stands, a barber, massage, laundry, water supplier, some bars, cafe

-       Mercury drugstore, office supplies, beauty salon

So here are my proposals for new startups:

Food and drinks

-       A restaurant of high standard: there is not a nice place to go eat in the area, only eateries and some cheap restaurants.

-       A nice coffee shop/library with some books and magazines: You can come, hang out, drink coffee, study, and read in a relaxing atmosphere. Internet connection should be pretty good as well.
 

-       A bakery with fresh bread and pastries

-       A smoothie stand: only greasy unhealthy food in the area.

Health

-       A gym or health center for the residential (having group classes, personal trainers and weights 3dmølle). There are only small garages with a few weights in the area. There could also be a nutrition specialist at the gym so a healthy diet and work out could easily be combined. Location is important – easy access

Other:

-       Commercial billboards for rent: since there is a lot of travellers and people passing by.

-       A sari sari store of some size: only small ones around with very limited selection.

-       Clothing shops: its pretty far to the nearest shopping facilities)

-       A mall: there is a shopwise with some surrounding shops in the parallel street. Maybe build on this so there would be some more shopping facilities. Doesn`t have to be all that big. 

New ideas:

-       A maids distribution office:
seems this is really popular in the Philippines, would make it easier for new residents to get hold of someone with fitting their needs if there was a distribution office

-       An Umbrella dispenser or seller:
would be convenient to quickly get hold of an umbrella if it starts raining. No shops selling umbrellas in Kamagong (at least not that I have found)

-       Grocery delivery and outlet:
Shop wise is always having long lines at the cashier. Offer a grocery delivery. Can order online and get delivered or pick it up yourself at the storage. Its already being done in some other countries decreasing the customer's time spent on shopping. This way you can order the groceries in your lunch break and get hem delivered when you arrive at your home. On the online shop they could also have a meal of the day with discounted groceries. This way the customers can get a good value buy and don't have to think about what to cook for dinner.
