No more painful injection, laser drug injection being developed
Ateneo Innovation and Entrepreneurship
From techcrunch
Are you one of those who as a kid (or even now) afraid of needles for injection of drugs. Well who is not? I am afraid of tooth extraction because of the injection of the anaesthetic.
Good news. A new method of injecting drugs by laser is being developed. The system involves blasts of microscopic particles of drugs into the skin into spaces as little as hair diameter. This was reported by phys. org
The process is being developed in South Korea. Jack Yoh, professor of aerospace and mechanical engineering at Seoul National University in South Korea. Tests have been successful with guinea pigs and the process, it is hoped needles fearing patients could come sooner
