I was watching the feature of  History channel on peppers.  What is the hottest pepper  in the world?

It is bhut jolokia (Naga Ghost Chili)

It is rated at l,000,000 scoville units vs. Habanero at only 350,000 scoville units. at only .  Man that is hot. (Tabasco sauce has only 5,000 scoville units.)
