What pisses you off at AGSB ?
"An AGSB intranet"
One of the things I am missing here at AGSB is a place to access all the information I need in order to fulfill my studies. I would suggest an online intranet.
An online intranet: all students and teacher would have an account on the intranet. As student signs up for classes they get a username and password to access the intranet and the "subjects homepage" they have enrolled in. The primary purpose is to share Atene`os university information and compute resources among students and employees. I did some googling and found that there a quite a few universities with intranets, even here in Manila De La Salle has for instance an intranet. I think it would be a good idea for AGSB to also get an intranet. The intranet would among others have following functions:
- - All the postings within the subject are done.
- - Messages from the professor`s
- - Recommended literature
- - Update on assignments
- - Presentations and assignments will be uploaded here
- - A search enginge for literature and documents
- - School and Professors contact information
There would be one link in the menu for the subjects that the student have enrolled in and within this link all the information like syllabus, guidelines, literature, presentations, important messages from the professor etc. This would make the communication between the teacher and the students a lot easier and also accessing the school and subject information. 4 < maybe some elements exist but not integrated; no system yet>
