Serendipity Walk. Serendipity Surf. Imagine the wealth of ideas that can come rushing into an entrepreneur when he would just constantly seek for opportunities - definitely a ginormous lot.
1. Mall Map Application with Real-time Locator. With the size of Philippine malls going larger by the minute, wouldn't it be much easier if the likes of SM and Ayala had downloadable Mall Map Applications with built-in Real-time Locators? Almost a fusion of phone applications like Google Maps Mobile , Foursquare and Find my Friends, mall-goers with apple/android phones/tablets should be able to access the mall's free wifi, download the application, and instantly find exact locations of stores or friends vis-a-vis themselves - complete with directions. The Mall Map App should also be able to provide suggestions on alternative brands per user's selection, and flag updates on sales, events, newly-opened stores, and cinema schedules. Another functionality to be explored would be placemarks on parking spaces. Using the same application, a user can simply tag and put a placemark on the location of his parking slot for easier recall after an entire day spent inside the mall.

2. In-house Vet at Pet Grooming Stations. With more and more people investing on their pets, pet grooming stations have started to become a popular business in Manila. Dogs and the City, for one, has gained popularity because of its accessibility and offered convenience to pet owners - slash - mall goers, becoming a one-stop-shop not just for pet grooming but also for pet supplies. But wouldn't it be great to have an in-house veterinarian ready for routine check-ups and consultations? Currently, pet owners would have to go to two different places for grooming and vet consultation. So why not merge the two and capture an even bigger chunk of the market? Also, why not explore the possibility of offering extended-care-taking-packages that targets condo-tenants and frequent travellers alike -- those that invest on their pets have no choice but to leave them for a while because of a business/leisure travel? The package could include food and lodging, with a choice of airconditioned or non-airconditioned stall, and with options for morning walks, grooming, and upgrades on food and bed.
3. 24-7 Anywhere Tire Repair/Replacement Service. Taking a hint from Motolite's success in its 24-Hr-7-Days-a-Week- Express Delivery Service, companies such as Servitek and Rapide could probably explore profitability in providing 24-Hr, 7 Days-a-Week Tire Repair/Replacement Service anywhere in the Metro. Especially now that call centers have made Manila another city that never sleeps, and that more and more women are starting to drive - and without much know-how on tires, an on-call and trustworthy tire-service-center-on-wheels could definitely come in handy.4
4. 24-7 Taxi Concierge. Wouldn't it be great to have just 1 number to call to have an access to all major taxi service companies in Manila? And wouldn't it be ideal to have a taxi concierge so trust-worthy, you're sure to retrieve items you've accidentally left inside the cab? Or a premiere taxi service that lets you pay via credit card just when you've ran out of loose change? Or just plainly, safe and secure taxi cabs with honest drivers that won't cheat, mug, or jump you? Presenting, the 24-7 Taxi Concierge. Borrowing its business plan from the likes of City Delivery and Quick Delivery, a 24-7 Taxi Concierge should be able to find, secure, and book taxi cabs anywhere in the Metro for immediate dispatching to the client's location. However, more than just a taxi booking service, the Taxi Concierge should be able to manage different taxi cabs' quality, safety, and security, by partnering with different taxi service companies -- offering lease of equipment (radio communication system, credit card terminals, possibly, wifi and GPS navigators), integrity trainings, marketing and endorsement to corporations/companies/airport, etc.4
