What Pisses You Off in Malls?                 Malls are filled with fastfood restaurants. Sometimes, these fastfood chains can be packed with people, especially during payday weekends and holidays. This results to long queues. I usually don't mind long lines but if further delays are caused by incompetent crew and confused customers (customers who don't know what they want), it makes my patience run out.                 To address this problem, fastfood restaurants may want to put up self-service terminals for their orders. These terminals should be user-friendly and must have the menu, complete with photos, prices, and automatically computes the order. They should be wired to the cooking area so that uncommon orders could be prepared ahead and lessen the waiting time. The terminals should be able to print the order to make it easy for the cashier to "punch". Also it would be more efficient if these terminals are touch-screen and the printed orders have bar codes, which will be scanned by the cashier for instant verification. They should also have a separate cashier for terminal users if possible. Hopefully, this kind of ordering process also becomes available in their websites so that when people crave for specific meals, they could print their orders at home and hand them over to the cashier upon arrival. 4 Armando Coloma Jr. Regis – Sta.
