We have learned that stems cells from another post, regarding Suzanne Sommers regarding the use of stem cells for breast cancer victims. It helped women who underwent mastectomy to regrow their chest.
In my conversation with doctors here in the PHL we know of stem cells therephy (costing $60t) for: post prostate surgery and kidney failure. I know of one fellow who had ca of the kidney whom I thought would die is now alive and kicking.
Stem cells treatment for beauty care is now well known; and so with its use in preventing organ transplant rejection in University of Madrid.
In a Discovery presentation, the stem cell therapy is well known in Thailand and China. China foresees that this field is going to a driver of export in the next 20 years.
I know of former students in MBA health who were doing research in this field, but mostly collecting stem cells from umbilical cords of babies in a government maternity hospital.
