Both the cause and victims - the informal settlers at floodway

I may be posting on a politically sensitive issue like the floodway.  But the paper of the UP academe clearly points out the effective flow and width of the floodway was lessened by their occupancy of the floodway banks. Thus lessening the floodway's effectiveness to drain the Marikina river and the flood.

At the same time their solid wastes being dumped into the floodway over the years.

And then there are drownings and houses being washed away by the floods, other residents being inundated  for months...

We know the cause, we know the solution, we are not doing anything  because is is offensive and politically incorrect..

Why complain..?  Let us just suffer.
