Crocs are not that greedy.  The crocs you see here are hungry.  They eat most of the time once a month.

They are a model of efficient energy use.  They need sunlight to get started.  Their energy consumption when resting is equivalent to auto lamp in appliances.  We mammals consume prodigous amount of energy;  we are energy wasters

Crocs can die of anxiety as what has happenned to Rio.  It died of bleeding stomach ulcer in captivity
