NU12 by Ed Duenas - Adjustable traffic cones

NU12 Idea: Adjustable Tall Safety Cone with Hook
Safety is a primary concern in any organization because if it is not practice then many accidents or untoward incidents may occur. It is important to have a mentality or a culture that is concerned with safety especially for men working at risk. In line with this, we usually see safety cones (the red/orange cone) when they are men working or there is a road accident or repair. This safety cone serves as a safety precaution to signal extra vigilance from anyone within the distance. I noticed a problem with this safety cones, they are too small therefore not everyone notices this instrument. It is easy to be seen by pedestrian and small vehicles but for vans, buses and trucks this is sometimes unnoticeable and because of that it is often being bump/destroyed by big vehicles.
With this, I proposed that there should be an adjustable tall safety cone. It is for the men working to adjust the height of the cone, preferably at the eye level of the worker around 5 ft. in height. It is more visible because of its height/size and we can avoid vehicles destroying or damaging these cones. You can't just imagine the cost of each cone (around 500-800) and often it gets damage because of drivers that do not see it because it is too small. Aside from the "adjustable height of the cone", I'll place a hook in the middle so that signs such as "Men at Work" can be posted in the upper part of the safety cone.
In this project, there will be two issues being addressed and that is to manufacture tall safety cones to avoid drivers to damage these cones and second is to save cost and maximizing its benefit.4
