PORTABLE GARBAGE SORTING MACHINE

Hello Prof,
I didn't see one of my NU posted so I am sending this.  Thanks!

 NUIDEA:  PORTABLE GARBAGE SORTING MACHINE

Proper waste disposal is one of the thrust of LGUs now because finally people are accepting that improper waste disposal leads to a lot of problems like groundwater contamination, disease outbreaks, habitat destruction, climate change, and pollution.  A simple and rational way to cope with all our garbage is to sort them out at its source and to separate it immediately where possible. Hence, we see garbage bins separating recyclable from combustible to incombustible.  Others use color-coded bins separating the following: recyclable, non-biodegradable, biodegradable, infectious, and industrial materials or those bulk goods for businesses. The way waste is sorted usually reflects local disposal systems.  It is kind of difficult to memorize what trash goes to which bin especially when one is in a hurry to finish all chores.  I wish there's a portable garbage machine which can accommodate and separate all the trash and LGUs will require all households this portable waste sorting machine.  It will have a wide mouth to accommodate all the garbage.  With just a push button, garbage will travel a conveyor belt in the machine which has sensors that will detect which trash goes to which container of the machine.  Hence, we save time thinking how to separate all the trash!  Garbage will be segregated the way our local authorities want!  It would also be nice if the machine has an indicator of how much waste is already inside each bin and a compactor.  When we see that a bin is almost full and that the garbage collector is not about to collect yet, we can just push a button to make sure that the garbage can be compressed so we still have space till the collector arrives.  Or it would be better if the waste sorting machine has sensors that can detect if the bin is almost full so that it will automatically compress what's inside once a threshold is reached.   The compressed and segregated garbage will have more space in the garbage trucks.  LGUs can also put these sorting machines on the streets instead of the usual garbage bins we see.  That's easier waste disposal and segregation system for the entire community! <who sent this? thanks>
