John Ng's NU12 - mass transport, new spending habits, population control
John Christopher Ng SPENTREP S63 4/10/12 Prof: Jorge Saguinsin
New product / product improvement
Since the demand in commuters have been increasing recently, and the supply for the public utility vehicles have also been increasing, and the roads have become bottlenecks everywhere because of the loading and unloading of the PUV. We also have a problem in the overpopulation.
I have a (maybe an idealistic) solution. We need to monopolize the commuting business.
· First we need to make all PUV drivers be paid in a minimum wage (depends how many trips they have traveled).
· Second, we need to follow a timely route.
· Third we need loading and unloading booth that is strictly followed.
· Lastly, we need a proper system for the payment; commuters need to buy in advance the payment ticket that is universal and/or like a pre-paid.3.0
New spending habits / routine
I've had read a book entitled "Richest man in Babylon." And history just repeated itself; man's need never changed, and so is spending. This book says that if you obey the five laws of gold, you can live a life of financial freedom.
The Five Laws of Gold ~ Investment tips from an ancient time ~
1. Gold cometh gladly and in increasing quantity to any man who will put by not less than one-10th of his earning to create an estate for his future and that of his family.
2. Gold laboureth diligently and contentedly for the wise owner who finds for it profitable employment, multiplying even as the flocks of the field.
3. Gold clingeth to the protection of the cautions owner who invests it under the advice of men wise in its handling.
4. Gold slippeth from the man who invests it in businesses or purposes with which he is not familiar or which are not approved by those skilled in its keep.
5. Gold flees the man who would force it to impossible earnings or who followeth the alluring advice of tricksters and schemers or who trusts it to his own inexperience and romantic desires in investment. <what is the ownership John? How are you going to apply the knowledge?)

What pisses you off at you country? What you think must be done?
Let me start with the quote of Albert Einstein, "The world is a dangerous place. Not because of the people who are evil; but because of the people who don't do anything about it."
Statistically, the Philippines have already reached 90M population. There has become an imbalance of wealth. The rich getting richer, while the poor getting poorer.
The Philippines is one of the countries that are very blessed with natural resources. Unlike Israel, which was been a new country since 1970, the land they have claimed are only filled with sand and stone everywhere. But now, what can you see in their land? Productivity! Flowers and trees! There are many other stories like South Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand that if you read their stories would really insult our countries natural resources, stories from rags to riches.
The first thing I suggest is to control our population, by controlling I mean birth control. Informal settlers are the main objective for this project. We need to make each and every one of them to be infertile. We would be focusing for the next generation of our country.
The next question is, what are we going to do with our existing population? We will be distributing them to other regions where we can make them farmers or other jobs like tourist guide. They have thoughts that Manila is a land of Milk and Honey, but this is all a lie, they came from province hoping to get rich by stepping in Manila. (We also need to eliminate this kind of thinking)
There are many women who worked so hard for their family, and the husband just drink and waste their life. We need to implement a law that would protect our women from this kind of act. Every husband that doesn't have worked for the past 6 month would have his gentiles chop.
Our last step is to educate our younger people. Now how do we do that? This is the greatest challenge. We need to raise an army supported by our government. We need to raise a home for the homeless, which is why our crime rate is increasing and because they have never felt they have a home that someone is caring for them.3.0 <the structure of IRA encourages more people; more IRA share is given to barangay with more people; hence squatting is encouraged by lgu heads to get the 30% IRA share. No amount of reklamo can stop squatting>
Advantages:
1. Over population might be solved
2. Crime rate would lessen
3. Unemployment would decrease
4. We can focus producing innovate products per region in the country
Disadvantages
1. It is very hard to implement
