New Products/Product Improvements (Part II)
We, Filipinos, love to take picture with our loved ones and as time goes by, cameras are getting lighter or smaller everyday as companies try to find innovative ways to make it handy for their consumers.
Visiting various electronic stores and looking at the available cameras sold in the market, I've noticed that most of the cameras are handy yet to bulky to carry around. This leads to a probable tendency of having it left behind.
Another disadvantage that I've noticed on the current cameras sold nowadays is that most cameras are not waterproof built. Some even have limitations in terms of transferring pictures to a computer, laptop even smartphones.
This brings me to an idea which answers this "what if" question --- what id we develop a camera that is handy, convenient and functional at the same time?
My idea is to develop a 14 megapixel mini digital camera with mp4 player having the following specifications:
-          It is waterproof up to 12 meter (39.4 feet) of salt water so that you can take pictures when you're in a beach while you are snorkeling or diving.
-          Its size is about the size of a palm of an ordinary person or let say about 24 cubic centimeters and has the feature taking a video (MPEG4 video).
-          It will use 3.7 volts of battery that can be recharged anytime.
-          It has a USB port and Bluetooth features so that pictures can be easily transferred to a computer or a smartphone.
-          The memory capacity of the camera is up to 12 GB, weighing only around 40 grams. It should have a grip bracket so that the customer can easily hold the camera
-          You can even store music on this camera and can listen to it anytime, anywhere.
Overall, the camera that I want to develop will not only be handy but it will have added features that will be beneficial to kids, yuppies and adults who loves gadgets. 4
