Happy New Year! Here are 3 Tips For a Productive 2013.
Hey all, hopefully the new year has been treating you well so far. We even escaped the Dec 21 doomsday so if you ask me, we all should be doing just fine. :)
I also wanted to share that your favorite tech blog (yep, Guiding Tech) completed 3 years on Jan 1st. This has been a great ride so far and we have come a long way in our aim of making an average computer or mobile phone or tablet user more productive in whatever he does. I thank you all for being a part of our journey so far, and hope that you'll stay with us on the roads ahead.
With that said, here are 3 quick tips to start the year on a productive note:
1. Control the habit of leaving a lot of tabs open in your browser. Doesn't matter which browser - be it Firefox or Chrome, the fact remains that most of us tend to not go back to those tabs and they remain lying there hogging the CPU and memory. So, bookmark them and close them.. or better, read them and close them.
2. Make online sharing faster. I wrote a column for a mainstream media site here in India and I'd like you all to check it out - 7 incredibly quick ways to share images (and files) from your computer.
3. And last, but by no means the least, take frequent breaks. Yeah, very simple and immensenly ignored. But very important. So after you're through reading this newsletter and sharing the posts that you like (you do it, right? :) ), get up and take a walk!
Cheers,
