New building demolition concept from Japanese Taisei
Ateneo Innovation and Entrepreneurship
"New ideas create more and better new products and services; create more wealth."
From Atlantic cities
A Japanese construction company has pioneered a noiseless debris free method of building demolition. It is called a big hat concept. Instead of having heavy machinery and crane working on the demolition from atop a building, the Tasei Ecological Reproduction or Tecorep works on the demolition from inside the building and rips of the building floor by floor and huge jacks supports the floors and the hat.
There is never a bad weather during the demoliton, because there is a roof, less noise and no concrete dust and debris flying off, because the hat contains them
