An additional $700 billion is needed to be spent to cope up with increasing temperature.  This is in addition to the $5 trillion that must be spent annually through 2020 to improve infrastructure on water, agriculture and transportation.  This is according to Accenture PLC who released the stud Green Growth Action Alliance.  The Alliance is headed by former Mexican President Felipe Calderon.

The planet is on track to reaching the 4 degrees Celsius increase in temperature this century, double what is deemed safe,  The amount to be spent by public sector must be able to leverage as much as five times in private funds to have more trade in green technology.
