One of the most prominent medical equipments you see that almost all doctors use is the simple stethoscope. This is a very vital piece of equipment that lets doctors diagnose illnesses without resorting to expensive procedures. But this equipment can be further improved by connecting it to a small built-in amplifier that can act as a sort of ultrasound or 2D echo that can further expand its purpose. It can diagnose heart irregularity and anatomical defects that an ordinary stethoscope may not detect. It is doable because of the advances in electronics and miniaturization and will greatly help the physicians further in detecting illnesses.
