The woodfrog secret of being frozen solid

I just saw in Animal Planet the wood frog being frozen solid in winter and then being thawed all of sudden in summer/spring as if nothing happenned. What is the secret.  One is being frozen slowly to give room for expansion of the ice in the body to prevent injury to the cells.

The secret of the wood frog can further research into:

l. Cryogenics to preserve human body and tissues;

2.  Extending the time to transplant critical body organ like lung and heart after harvesting
