Here are the things I hate most in our neighbourhood: People throwing their trash along sidewalk in the middle of the night. The expectation is for them to wait for the garbage collector to pick it up in the morning, but some neighbours opt to let it all out by 10pm. These cause more garbage on the sidewalk because dogs & cats tend to open the plastic bags in search of food. What needs to be done are the ff: o ü Educate the people of the schedule hours of garbage collection thru leaflets and posters. ü Schedule nightly rounds of Barangay Tanod and include on their agenda to identify on which street corners have the most offenses in throwing their garbage. ü Penalize people who are caught to teach them lessons. ü If budget allows, install CCT cameras on common areas to indentify these people, at the same time also serves as a security camera against theft and robbery.

I love Japanese food. And I love to cook too. These days, for a common people like me to taste Japanese
cuisine, its either I dine at a Japanese restaurant or take advantage of most buffet offerings with
Japanese food on their menu/courses.
If you roam around most of our malls today, I don’t think you will see a specialty store that will offer
accessibility of Japanese cooking ingredients. I just wish that there’s a Japanese store that will help
me identify the right ingredients, and show me the way of cooking to do everything Japanese in the
convenience of my own home.
This is my new business idea (not necessarily the one that I will submit for a business plan J )
Store Name: Japan Japan
Target Market: Japanese nationals, locals who wish to learn how to cook Japanese food & gain easy
access to authentic Japanese ingredients
Vision: To be the best source of Japanese ingredients in the metro while making these ingredients
accessible to everyone.
Strategy:
- Choose the best location in the mall. Probably near the supermarket. Or a specialized stall
within each supermarket
-ü Import authentic Japanese ingredients
- Provide cooking assistance by showing cooking demos on weekends with free taste
- Provide free cook book/ menu for Japanese cuisines for a minimum of P500 worth of
purchases.
- Make the price reasonable for the market to grow
- Spread the word through E-Marketing like Facebook, Blog sites etc.
I believe that this new business idea will be a hit specially that none of this has existed in the current
market. Most of Japanese ingredients is scattered throughout the metro or you’ll probably see them on
a non-known zones. Making this commercialized will gain that brand awareness and accessibility to all.
