We have been availing of laundry services ever since our house-help left to go back to her parents. This makes things easier for our family since my mom can no longer do laundry and we do not have the energy and time to do the laundry, or at least we would want to spend our energy on other things. The only downside to this though is that sometimes you lose some clothes and it gets mixed with other clothes. Also, it would be really great if there is an option for having your clothes ironed out.

There should be some way to be able to mark the clothes to the appropriate owner. Store owners can invest in a sort of tape-generator which you can type words on which you can use to generate tags for clothes. This is much like the tapes you use for inventory but it should be a tape which can endure washing. In this way, all items are tagged and we have a way to check which items are for the right customer.

1.       Input the customer code with date on the device.

2.       Tag all clothes for each customer. Tags are numbered. Record last number.

3.       Wash the clothes.

4.       Gather all clothes, count, and check if anything is missing. Take off the tags as you count the clothes. The device should have a part of it that will help take out the tag.

5.       Put the clothes in a bag and tag it for delivery.

I plan to add an additional room for ironing out clothes. Here are the features of the store.

1.       Different items would have a different price as the difficulty varies per item. On non-pants items, steam will be used but for pants the normal ironing board.

2.       Each ironing station will have both a board and a steam iron. The boards will be built-in to the walls to conserve space.

3.       For delivery, we would have foldable poles which you can just assemble and depending on how many items will be ironed, the length of the pole will vary.

4.       Hangers can be provided but is sold per piece.

5.       Due to criticality in delivery, customer will be contacted before delivery to ensure that there will be someone to receive the items.

For people who are busy on a lot of things other than chores, this would be a very big help. At this age, a lot of people are like that most especially the young professionals, myself included. 4
